It’s my early belief that Sykesville Cyclones should be the #1 ranked unit. Won 4 to win API event last weekend. Thoughts?

Who was even in the tournament? And let’s be honest API is not a real baseball tournament. Playing balls off a ceiling... many of those deflect and land when outside they are routine pop ups

Joppatowne kept it close in USSSA semis then they somehow got run by Loudoun Aces.

Sykesville playing at UCBF this weekend. Gonna see stiff competition to see if they are along the elite. Mid Atlantic Red Sox, Delmarva Aces East all there too.

Delmarva Aces 10U won UCBF this weekend. Defeated Sykesville in final 13-12. Move record to 19-1 on year. Fourth championship of season - USSSA Orlando, Sports at the Beach and Baseball Delmarva, UCBF.

Delmarva looked good. Their one loss was a 6-4 to Hickory Hornets. Hornets ran out of pitching and lost a hard fought semi final 9-5 to Sykesville.

Sykesville played well too. What is going to be interesting is the CRAB league this year. This league is made up of some good teams...Sykesville, Gambrills, Hickory, Elkridge, EVO Canes, Maryland Os, Joppatowne, Lakeshore, Frederick Hustlers, etc.

Delmarva Aces 10U East wins Ripken with 12-0 win in 5 innings over Frederick Hustlers. 5-0 in tournament

Congrats. Delmarva is good. I’d like to see them more often. You should come to the Crab league. All the teams are competitive. The Frederick game may have been an anomaly. Delmarva has played other Crab teams and they were much closer. Sykesville 13-12, they lost to Hickory 6-4 etc. Actually Hickory just finished a Ripken tournament also going 4-1 for second place before losing to the Hamilton As of NJ. Along the way Hickory beat the West Chester Dragons of PA 15-3 who were nationally ranked 93rd.

Congrats to Sykesville...they were the hot team and won a very tough tourney. We (Hickory Hornets) wish we could play them more often. They got us in the semi-finals after we took out a tough Gambrills team. Hopefully we see Sykesville again as currently Hickory and Sykesville sit at 2-2 against each other this year. Need a rubber match!!!
