Sorry....linked to the wrong post, I was referring to the comment made by another poster that Gambrills and Mid Atlantic Red Sox had tougher schedules and thus should be ranked higher....regardless, I appreciate your posting these rankings to incite the conversation!
1. Olney 2. Red Sox 3. Gambrills 4. Big Train 5. HCYP Blue 6. Elkridge Orange 7. MMU 8. Shockers (Hendricks) 9. Severna Park 10. Sandy Spring
Close....HCYP White, Williamsport, White Marsh, Hickory.
There are too many teams that have that one good pitcher and it's hard to compare. Big Train lost to SS, but didn't throw top 2 pitchers. SS wins tough games with one kid, but when depth is tested they get blown away. Other teams drop what appear to be easy wins because they throw deep into their staffs and develop kids. Some teams play every Wednesday and every weekend, and others avoid Wednesday games because no pitching depth. You should rank these teams by how many innings they play and how spread out their innings are amongst their kids. Teams with 12 should be pitching at minimum 10, teams with 10 should be pitching all 10.
