The troublemakers from the Pasadena times are gone. People want to carry things over from years past instead of letting this team live in the present. We’re DE parents a problem this weekend? Id hate to see the Pasadena times if DE is the improved behavior. There is a reason everyone has the same opinion of their parents, they create a lot of issues for themselves taking the focus away from the kids on the field where it should be. The one parent that likes to yell after every pitch like he is the umpire is very abrasive, not to mention the yelling at others teams players, cursing in the stands, and banging on bleachers while opposing kid is pitching to attempt to distract a 10/11 year old kid. Its fine to be pbuttionate supporters unfortunately DE does so in the wrong way and seems to think their behavior is acceptable. Hi I am the head coach of Diamond Elite. My name is Steve Kendall. Please feel free to call me at anytime on 443-370-2307 whenever a fan of Diamond Elites acts in any manner that you are speaking of. It is not tolerated nor have I seen it in a Diamond Elite uniform. We hold the players and parents to the highest level of respect on and off the field as well as showing it to our opponents. It seems that this site is a source to hide behind a key board with a disguised name to bash any team, coaches, or fans that rivals do not care for because of one thing or another. Either way it is ridiculous to see the amount of effort and time one would put on a site like such. If we are not going to state names and work together to fix any issues we can to make every game for our kids a better atmosphere then why dont we put a glove on and get outside and spend time with them. Nothing good comes from this or social media. I would never bad mouth or point fingers about another team but there are plenty of issues on other squads that never seem to be mentioned. Tells me it is the same people trying to bash one team behind different names. So please contact me so I can handle any issues you have with my organization.

To the DE coach- thanks for chiming in. Can you explain the rationale behind throwing a 11 year old 122 pitches? Also- a 11 year old throwing 20+ curveballs in one game? Are you out to destroy this kids arm? Is his dad a coach and blinded by the plastic trophy??
Your response cannot include: "but the other team did it too" "he felt good so I left him in" "he seemed to get stronger as the game went on"
Anxious to hear your response.

Micky 122 pitches is too many for an 11 year old. Given the circumstances of how the tournament fell with four games in a day and as for the kid we felt it was our best option at the time. Rest buttured he has never ever thrown that many in an outing nor will he again. We will definitely do a better job looking into tournaments and brackets prior to registration. Beings you limited how I am allowed to answer that is all I can say at this time. As far as other teams and pitchers that is not my responsibility nor would I mention them or their pitch counts. Seems that everyone is only concerned about DE pitch counts. Thank you

You simply could not take him out when the game was that close, because no one else could have finished. There was no other option than to leave him in. And it's not like the kid is going to play professionally or anything. He'll remember that game for the rest of his life. In fact, what that game showed is that he can do it again in the next big game. That's what winners do, and that's why DE is the king of 11U baseball baby!

I read dbhlwh's post as sarcastic and insulting to DE's coach. The coach admitted he was wrong in leaving him in. They may have had arms left, but I'm sure the kid was not fatigued and said he was fine and they thought he gave them the best chance at winning. Maybe they even lost track of the pitch count. But, he said it wouldn't happen again. So, LET IT GO. Someone find Elkridge and BCC pitch count numbers and let's scrutinize those. I hope every kid who pitched more than 20 pitches had 1 day of rest for all of the teams in that tournament.

Look at this guy's first two posts particularly his first one. He shows no remorse. He did not apologize. He said under the ircumstancess it was the only move. It was not the only move.If they had no other pitchers left the right move would have been to put an outfielder in there to throw batting practice to the other team. Blaming the tournament and the brackets is just deflecting responsibility. Guys like this should not be coaching children.

First and foremost why does steve need to apologize to you. Who are you that you mean anything to him or this team. As far as the obnoxious parent you talk about what y’all need to understand is that where he’s from (Latin America) that’s how they cheer. Actually more than that. The same way that if you watch a basketball game in the middle of the county or the city. There’s a big difference. And honestly I didn’t know there was rules to how to cheer and some actual cheer police. And like I was taught at a young age if you don’t like him cheering like that then do something about it. Don’t wait till you lose then complain about it. Your raising kids that riot and get punched in the face and wonder why lol. And your right no diamond picture this week. We came up short. BBC played there hearts out and came out on top but it shows me that we’re doing something right because y’all can’t keep our baseballs out your mouth. But don’t worry you’ll get to see another one real soon.

Lmao I see all you liberal crybaby pansies are offended by just about everything de. I’m guessing that none of you libtards have kids playing football, cause I’ve seen some crazy on the sidelines of some of those games. May I make a suggestion to those offended by loud , aggressive, motivating cheers, Quit . Quit now and take your kid to play another sport while you sit in you reclining chair talking about the sale at Macy’s. I also love the way other teams think we pioneered the cheering and banging while pitchers are pitching. I can’t tell you how many times opposing teams have done that to us , even gone as far as hanging off the fence in the dugout trying to distract our pitcher. Nevertheless, we didn’t cry about it. I guess when you’re always winning , youre clbuttified as the evil empire. I’ll take that!!

Its funny how everything that is said there is an excuse for. That might sum up why nobody likes DE parents. Obnoxious excuse makers who think they always win and that is all that matters even at the expense of kids health. Oh he's from Latin America thats why he is like that, it was the tournament directors fault he threw too many pitches, other teams cheer too. Yes, other teams cheer for their teammates while you fools yell directly at opposing kids for the sole purpose of trying to distract them not cheer on your teammates.
You're just a bunch of a-holes that will never change and always blame someone else thinking your dont stink. I would just say get used to it, these fools are going to continue to act like idiots because they literally blame everyone else for their own actions and think they are not the problem. When all the teams have an issue with your parents its time to look in the mirror even if the reflection is ugly
