So I find it a little disturbing that there are now kids reading and commenting on this message board that’s filled with garbage, blue pill adds, spam and some (very little) good baseball conversation. But I originally came here to post how I saw one of the best college baseball programs working on bunting and bunt defense. Where are the bunt police now? Yep Vanderbilt

Dave, I agree. It is time for the admins to take the thing down and require usernames with proper ID's/email verifications of said users and authentication. I never post or look at this thing with a logon (admittedly being lazy) but I'd be happy to if they would take it down and enforce it. What are we teaching our kids? If I were a college coach, or even a HS coach in a private school who is allowed to recruit, I'd start with this message board to eliminate players and families from my list. Makes my list shorter and my job easier. It's very sad and it should be taken down, restarted with a clean approach and people who bicker or worse should be removed. Remember kids if you read this. Once you do it electronically it exists forever somewhere. It never goes away. Be smarter and be better than what you see on this board and these posts please!

Coaches - if you do not have a code of conduct you should develop one as well and include social media protocols on it. Get your players prepared for that. And protect them from themselves and the other wolves who like to taunt and intimidate. We all need a little reminder and protection from our own egos at times. Especially young men who are coming of age and emotions are flying high. Help them out by putting a solid code of conduct in place for your team. While you cannot control public forums outside of asking the admins to put better controls in place, you can enforce a code of conduct for your players and organization which has a trickle down effect on these boards and other media outlets.

Brian
I agree about the list gets shorter but if you don’t know the back story as to some situations it can get misleading. That’s why you can never judge a book by its cover, think any coach who is a quality coach knows that from prior mistakes looking at a kid and pre judging him and then that kid shocks the hell out of you.
Dave I whole heartedly agree about log ons and usernames. I haven’t heard our kids talk about the board, but the blue pill experience on here is annoying but it’s not as bad as Instagram is for these kids. I can go on there and see anything i find on a full out xxx page.
The bottom line there’s not enough good baseball talk. Perfect example next weekend the USSSA tournament may be the best tournament in the state for 13u for possibly the entire season.

No surprise Gambreels got a poopee draw, all at hommee. If they win, will we take a picture with the coachees like they did something? Maybe Juam will luck box into a kid walking into his overpaid barn one time and he'll take credit for him being a HOFeree.

Don’t go to barn but $100 a month unlimited use seems cheap to me
