Well this is gonna be long.

I had taken a long break from this place as it has been nothing but toxic, when you try and post something positive for players who deserve some recognition, the board is quiet, but when it’s gossip it’s mighty lively.

I’ve just got tired of hearing people talk talk and talk more and more trash on Juan and Gambrills.

First- So funny someone would say that they wouldn’t let their son play for Gambrills as we are horribly coached. You say this but is your son is at Juan’s camp? Isn’t he a coach at Gambrills? Hypocritical wouldn’t ya say?? If we are such a badly coached team, how are we successful? This is not 8U baseball where raw talent will win.
I can promise you that there’s not many teams that run practices the way we do. And now we have our own indoor facility with Raspodo and Win Reality. How many other orgs can say this?

So please explain to us all here how we are a horribly coached team? I would take any suggestions to help make our team better.

Second- I do not have every detail as to Five Star as of now, and for that reason I’m not going to speak on it to much. If you know me and would like to talk my phones always on, especially for baseball.

Third —As for Juan, if you don’t know the guy don’t judge a book by it’s cover. I’ve never seen a coach get the buy in he gets from players. It’s amazing having a coach who’s not a Dad, hold players or your son accountable, and for them to take it to heart and understand why. Juan doesn’t just teach the fundamentals of the game, formulate incredible practice plans, push players to new heights, but he teaches the intricacies of the game that many don’t at this age. I can honestly say I feel my son will be more prepared for high school playing for Juan than if he had not.

Not many times will we hear or see coaches teaching players how and the importance of hitting behind runners at 13 years old. The day of hitting 200 foot home runs is gone, and every run becomes more valuable. I also don’t hear many coaches teaching the un written rules of the game, not just playing for yourself but for every man that’s wearing the same uniform you are, not being selfish. If you haven’t played for Juan, you don’t know the value he brings. I think the fact that every single clinic ran by Juan is sold out, speaks for its self, Juan produces results and makes players better.

Fellas the bottom line is Juan is an incredible coach. If you don’t like that he puts it out there for people to see his successes stories, get over it. He has a long list of players that he has helped to advance to various levels of baseball beyond travel or high school. If your skeptical than come watch, make your own opinion don’t make an opinion based on Instagram, Facebook or the word of someone else, not knowing their past with Juan. Some people can’t handle that Juan is brutally honest, if he doesn’t think you can cut it he’s going to tell you and not sugar coat it.

As Wayne Lewis said, his son has only been with Juan for two (2) months and his sons level of play is visibly better.
