So is the new thing to be braggadoshish on social media? I like how kids boast how proud they are of their own accomplishments to strangers. Isnt that something you talk amongst your family? Maybe I am old school. No one ever posts the failures of baseball. I can see the small benefits of social media but it looks out of hand now.

Read most recruiting blogs Twitter and Instagram are the biggest platforms coaches and recruiters use to discover players.
It has nothing to do with not being humble it comes down to exposure and the more players post the better chance to be seen.

100% agree. We go drive hours recruiting after seeing Johnny post a single on Tuesday night and pitched 3 innings with 0 runs given up.

Thanks scout That's not true at all. he did have a presence on twitter but has deleted his account before the draft. @jacksonmerril11 was the account. It had videos and all. |

Wrong, college coaches build relationships with HS and travel coaches and physically watch kids play. They don’t watch meaningless videos on tik tok.
