Follow crab and maba games. Average teams every yr every age group. Why is that bad?

Nope, never met a kid cut from api. They have multiple teams and will take anyone with $3,500.

DE is facing everyones #1 similar to what happened to Shockers last year. Its an adjustment and are without #7 who is a stud pitcher. #11 can flat out rake #16 changes speeds well and keeps hitters off balance. Still top of the rankings heading into spring in my opinion
Shockers are young 12U team with 3 stud pitchers #7, #23, #25. Team can hit for power too, still a top team looking to bounce back
SW #9 & #17 are all around studs and put the team on their back. This team can beat anybody
BBC plays a lot of league ball but are a very solid team. #34 1B and LHP is a stud, and they have some good arms #13, #50 to name a few. Well coached team hope to see them in more tournaments this spring
Gambrills has burst on the scence. Led by the top of the lineup that can mash. #22 can flat out hit and #15 is pitching great in big games
API, Olney, HCYP, Five Star are solid teams. 12U division should be exciting in the spring and a more competitive. 9U-11U years were top heavy but seem to be more balanced heading to 12U where on any given Sunday anything can happen

I don’t have a kid in the age group but have seen this age group progress through the years. Gambrills must be the shock of all the teams, guessing them kicking Vance out and having the new guy take over has been a great decision. Diamond Elite had a rough stretch it happens to every team. The kid on DE Badillo or how ever you say his name can straight up smash. Kid has a ton of raw untapped talent. Word is SE has the best pitcher in the state in their ace. Anthony is a baller no doubt about it I think you meant Spartan Warriors best pitcher in the state. I would have to agree with you. #9 is a K machine and his bat is just as good. The the guy asking about the top teams. Diamond Elite is still king IMO they are missing one of thier best pieces due to injury that will be back in the spring. Spartans are very strong. Gambrills has exploded on the scene out of no where with some very good pick ups. BBC is always competitive and so are Gowe and his shockers with the horses he has. Olney always a tuff team. HCYP white will be a surprise to many next spring. Watch! they have only getting better over the past couple seasons. Hopefully you will have all these teams in a tournament next spring cause i think this past 11u tournament with them all in it was great. Stay healthy and safe Diamond Elite plays the villain. So I agree that it’s good for the game for them to pbutt the torch of number 1 to someone else. I remember Vance from 9-10. No coach liked him. Good to see Gambrills make a change and find success. That team looks good lately. #9 for SW is an amazing pitcher. And probably the best in the state. But it takes more than 1 kid to be the most rounded and best team. Right this second, the most rounded looks like Gambrills. Will probably change. But cool to see some make a splash that nobody was talking about.

So yes #9 is with out a doubt the best pitcher but you have to remember he does not start. He is a closer. #17 is thier go to in either a championship Semi or the final. At this moment i wouldnt give the most complete team to GAC. I would say there are 3 teams in that race. All 3 teams are in a tight foot race. Diamond Elite Spartan Warriors Gambrills. Spring should be very interesting and like i said on one of my last posts. I hope these teams can get into the Centerville Tournament again in May Diamond Elite Spartan Warriors Gambrills Mid Atlantic Shockers Gowe Baltimore Baseball Club Olney Api Blue 5* Delmarva Aces East Mid Atlantic Shockers Hastings HYCP white KMS

Blue is the A team but without a shadow of a doubt the white team is better and I don’t think it’s even close.

Blue was the A since 8u with this age group of kids. I think they lost 1 game in MABA in only a handfull over all that year. White has definitely gotten a whole lot better and improving each year.Im not sure whats going on with Blue. That team is still very good. Coaches are good people also. In the few games ive seen in the fall just have a hard time holding leads late in games.

Does HCYP not have tryouts each summer for Blue/White/Black? If so, you’d think the studs from white would’ve moved up to Blue?
Interesting - must be a story.

Just proves that the best kids in 8u aren’t always the best kids in 12u and the best high school players sometimes weren’t the stars in 12u. Not sure how HCYP works but some of their age groups have more than one good team in the same age group. And I have seen kids (from HCYP and other teams) where some kids from a B team were better than kids on the A team.
