I wonder how good API would be with Dom still on the team. Someone remind me what happened and how did he end up on GAC? Stop trying to stir up unneeded drama. First of all, Dom is a 2025 so he wouldn’t even be on the team since API is an all 2026 team. Well then why is He playing with GAC this weekend ? That’s a 2026 team?

Just looking around all of the "national showcase" franchises who aren't very good locally. Mid Atlantic Canes - I only see one team left locally, Mid Atlantic DB's maybe 5/6 teams only 2 are good, 5 Star I have no idea how many teams now that they absorbed PG Select and spread up north to elkton area; a few good teams of that bunch, Mizuno outlaws who knows what they will be, US Elite - seem to have competitive teams. At this point, they all seem to be roughly the same a few good outliers here and there. so just a roll of the dice James Wood never played with 5 Star. He played with the Olney Pirates and finished with the Dirtbags.

He played for those teams too.

Agreed. I just said where he started and where he finished and that he never played with 5 Star. James and Jackson played on the Canes together which was a reconstructed Pirates team prior to HS. API had some of the same players from that team.

Come on now What about James Wood and Jackson Merrill last season? Both from MD both played 5 star National team. There may not be a lot of players from MD that make the national teams but there are a few. Maryland Baseball is starting to gain more and more respect across the country. Wouldn’t be shocked if you saw sophomore pitcher from Spalding make the jump to a National team. 10th grade almost touching 90 with nasty off speed, has had multiple D1 school’s scouting him. Severna Parks sophomore SS also has the chance to really turn some heads this year, after a year of tutelage from Merrill, he has made great strides on both sides of the ball. And apologies. This is what I meant to post/respond to with the original post. According to PG both Merrill and Wood ended up on the national teams of 5 Star and the Dirtbags respectively. They each built their credibility over time. Merrill Kent Is Bucs to the Pirates to the Mid-Atlantic Canes to Rawlings A’s to 5 Star NC then 5 Star National. Wood as detailed by previous poster.

But once again Miller struck and stole from another group of kids and their parents. How does he continue to stay in the baseball community after He was caught stealing from US Elite and now the dirtbags?
