Just received this. Looks like they are already loosing teams.
It is with great regret that we will not be fielding a 2026 Dirtbags team this upcoming season. Coach Wolfsheimer, Miller, and myself have worked hard scheduling and holding tryouts the past handful of months to get enough players that are ready to compete at an exposure level. Sadly and regrettably we fell short of this goal. We will be issuing a full refund to you, also we will help you to find team placement for this year. In addition, I am offering you time to workout with me at no cost after Varsity Practice at Dulaney High School in the spring to help further your son's development. Again, I am so sorry, Coach McElroy

Doesn't sound like it's his fault. At least he emailed the families and told the truth instead of taking the money and putting something together that was half butt

He’s buttociated with them. Why doesn’t “someone” tell him to spill the beans then? Just as bad to sit back and not address.

How does one not know going into Spring their team is in shambles? That’s bizarre and crappy in itself. Now these families will be scrambling. You wait until 3 weeks before the season starts to fold? And he is a HS coach too?? Must need a heartbeat and a stopwatch to coach now adays. Zach guy is an idiot too

You also Sent the money directly to his personal Venmo account. That was super shady. Also had to buy pants and socks. For that amount of money for fall they should do of been included only got two very basic jersey’s. Nothing like RBA had for the 13u season

Just call “coach wolf”. He said he would talk to anybody about baseball, dirtbags, whatever. Seems like a great guy. He said he would address for Shawn. Meanwhile Shawn is working on some more team recruiting.

Was mostly kids and coaches from Olney Pirates and some other team. Was this for another 13u team? Doesn’t make sense to try to recruit a whole new team during the winter, since most kids committed already.

The comment above is a prime example of why this page sucks and is full of disinformation. The "Hard90" team you're referring to was McNally's old Gambrills team that played as the Dirtbags out of Gambrills for their 14u season, which was LAST YEAR. That team had no links to "Wolf" and Shawn and had one kid (Sawyer) who played for Olney until they left for Dig In last year guest play for them a handful of times. Other than that no connection to Olney or "some other team." They were primarily 2025 kids with a few 2024's. So you are even off on that. I think the only thing you got right is that one of the Dirtbags teams had a tryout at Gilman. That is true. Good job buddy.

The other Dirtbags team is the team is where the 8k is missing from and also where the player got hurt 3 days after making payment and Miller refused to refund the kid his money. That team has left the Dirtbags and are now called Futures.
Has anyone seen Ryan or Shawn? We now know that Ryan knows where this site is and he has refused to answer any questions on here. If I had an organization and someone was saying these things and I knew that weren't true, I would be defending the organization. I guess we all can see what is being said is the truth.
