Anyone that knows that man if he tells your kid here sucks he actually sees potential in your kid. And for real be happy that there’s someone that will say it straight to him because there’s coaches parents and kids saying your son sucks behind his back so what would you rather

preteens and teens get bullied and have confidence issues as is. Shouldnt have to worry about an adult doing it too because "thats just who he is." juan is a clown

Humor or not it’s not appropriate for a coach to tell a kid they suck. My kids not good enough to play for Juan but I am picturing him pitch a good game and have his coach tell him he sucks just to motivate him.
Kids aren’t stupid and know when they played well or not and some are more sensitive than others.
Motivation is one thing but telling a kid he sucks strikes me as someone who is either a bully or insecure
Wouldn’t a more appropriate response be ?- great game but if want to be the best you can don’t be satisfied -to get to the next level you need to keep working even harder

The funny part is juan has trained some of the best catchers in the state. Multiple d1 guys. The clbuttic hate on the best tail continues.
