I mean when is the insanity going to stop with 100’s of travel teams. Some orgs have 3-4 teams at the same age group.

It is a Billion dollar industry across the US alone. It is not going anywhere as long as all of us continue to have our kids play in it.

Travel baseball far from perfect and feel for the kids who can’t play due to cost . People complain about watered down travel, decline in rec etc. However put yourself in a kids shoes . Someone who really likes the game . Would you rather play rec ball with maybe a 6-8 week season if you’re lucky with maybe a practice a week and maybe a rec tournament at end of season . Or play on a B or even C travel team. Get nicer uniforms ,get more practices and games and some tournaments on nice fields?

We parents also pay for an experience that we hope they learn from and remember forever.

Wayne. You do a lot of good for the baseball community. You congratulate everyone on their wins and encourage positive coaching for every age group. If you haven't been told from the bottom of a parents heart. Thank You!
