Whatever happened with the 12u select team that Juan was putting together? Is that still going to be a thing? Remember he wouldn't allow #11 from DE to even tryout. Took out easily the 2nd player in the state at that age.

Wayne is a very nice guy. Keeps everything honest. So what if his son tried out for so many teams. I've seen his son play, he's solid. Sure not #9, but a contributor. As for the #1 Team. That's a great debate. The top 5 are really good. And come spring when no one should guest, it will get interesting. I still say De is not a true 1. They need to win with the same roster they start a season with. But that's all for fun and games. I agree. Leave Wayne alone. Very nice guy. Debate for #1 and not in any order is (sw, gambrills, de) then 4 we'll give it to bbc, then 5 you can pick between shockers or api. Spring 2022 will be fun. I agree. Solid. And with Olney at 5. Hope all the top teams show up June 10-12th at Gambrills, and battles it out. I’ll get an extra field if I need to so we can have the top 8, live draw and let them battle it out with pitch county limits close to perfect games. Registration should be open by this weekend, great baseball and money being donated to a great cause. we haven't seen any real info for that. besides, gambrills has never hosted a tournament before. are you sure it's actually going to happen. Yes I’m running it and I have the meeting with the board today! Once it’s all approved I’ll post the registration. If ya didn’t know USSSA is up in the air as Tim has been in the hospital with covid for months. |

we haven't seen any real info for that. besides, gambrills has never hosted a tournament before. are you sure it's actually going to happen. i know a guy at gambrills. and word is that this tournament isn't even blessed off by the right people. so when it's posted by GAC themselves, we'll all look into it. Funny thing is the president is cool with it the Vice President is cool with it I just have to present it to the board today. If it isn’t ok with the right people then how is it blocked off on the schedule. |

Just curious as why Wayne lives in the Dena but son plays with SW in White Marsh. Bypbutted alot of teams. Did u try out for DE as u seem to be their #1 fan. Was the bodybuilding trio of SW coaches trying to keep u quiet about pitch counts? Kid has been on alot of teams not a top player yet lands on the #2 team in state. Ok Mr The Dena has Questions ill answer your questions. Well i just actually moved to pasadena area from Linthicum about 2 months ago. So SW practice field is only 22 minutes from Linthicum. I followed all the teams at 11u so I pretty much know them all pretty well. My son would go with me to watch alot of games and SW is a team he said he would like to try out for. So we did. As far as the pitch count comment i have called Silver out for pitch counts. Our coach has said if it happens to call them out. When we went to try outs the HC didnt have a clue who me or my son were. Lets talk about my sons talent since you ask. Well the 1st month and a half he struggled pretty bad being with a new team trying to hard. You know kid things. When he was with Rawlings last year he was top 4 in every batting category and lead the team in doubles and missed 8 games with a broke hand. But with SW he finished 7th in Avg 5th OBP 4th OPS 4th Slg 2nd Doubles 5th runs 1st in walks His issue was striking out which in that 1st month and a half had 16 but in the last month in a half he had 1. We made some changes to his batting and it made a huge difference. Now is there anything else you would like to know. Im a honest guy |

Glad GOLD doesn't treat their players like that. Maybe GOLD should set some rules for their organization. DE would never do this either. Some coaches are just coaching for the wrong reasons. |
