When adults want to brag about their kids via rankings and go on Facebook or this site to tout their prepubescent ball players; the counter is other parents tearing them down. Human nature isn’t pretty. Humility and clas-s goes a long way though, which is why I guess DE has become a target. C l a s s has nothing to do with showing your achievements. Are you saying since parents post photos of their child/team on fb for winning tournaments they are deserving of all this? This is not human nature. It is not human nature to call 11 and 12 year old kids future convicts. It is also not human nature to sit behind a computer screen pretending to be something/someone you are not and talk trash on said 11/12 year old children. What IS HUMAN NATURE- is doing exactly what DE does. Post photos of their team winning tournaments, being happy about it. Nothing about doing that is c l a s s l e s s . You don’t see any DE parents on here trash talking any other teams or organizations. When I know they could very easily do so. Baseball is a competitive sport. It’s human nature to feel jealous and want to compete with the teams that are good. It’s also human nature to make fun little jabs on coaches/teams/parents etc. But don’t act like it’s human nature to talk about a bunch of children. I see every other team in Maryland post their photos all over social media, yet no one speaks on them. Everyone hates the best. That’s human nature. Not a true statement at all. People hate when people tell everyone how good they are. |

Hope all the top teams show up June 10-12th at Gambrills, and battles it out. I’ll get an extra field if I need to so we can have the top 8, live draw and let them battle it out with pitch county limits close to perfect games. Registration should be open by this weekend, great baseball and money being donated to a great cause. we haven't seen any real info for that. besides, gambrills has never hosted a tournament before. are you sure it's actually going to happen. Well looks like your info was bad there mr negative. Looks like Steve was telling the truth and that tournament is stacking up to possibly be the best in the state for the year. |

Congratulations to parkville as I see they won the 12u bracket at Ripken this past weekend but why don’t I see everyone saying how bad of coaches they are for having kids play in that weather and why are they still playing. Do y’all’s rules not apply to them?

So you can only guest play up to a certain date now and if you play so many games you have to stop at a certain time. Thanks for updating me because I swore the argument was that the kids get hurt in 40 degree weather. So I’m just trying to figure out which rules y’all are playing by this week
