I would never send my child to Spauilding (Spalding)- your kid doesn't have the grades or talent to go there. I would never get a lesson from Juanito - Juan isn't a miracle worker. A certain foundation of athletic & baseball ability has to be present for any trainer to have success. I would never have my son play for GAC - Good. I am sure they don't want you anyway. Lets not act like Spalding is such a great academic school. It's practically an overprized public school. 21st out of 52 best private high school in Baltimore area I like random facts like that.

Nobody on here said that Spalding is the #1 school academically. You do need decent grades to get in though, as is the case with all schools in the archdiocese. But since we are talking baseball, who played in the MIAA championship game last year?

Be careful Their are some schools in this conversation that tell every kid that they want them to go to there school.
Dumb parents don’t understand that there kid won’t have a spot when junior year comes. Just wait and see.

Dear Over Recruit (that's two words): what you're describing has been happening for 20+ years now and at many schools. Just because you're seeing it first hand now, does not make you special or make this a unique situation.
Why do you think kids transfer after sophomore year? Because the writing is on the wall that they are not part of the 25 kid cluster to play Varsity and they transfer to a school that has a need for what they offer. That could be another private school or possibly back to public school.
It happens all of the time.
Next BS argument?
