Looks like the kid played atleast 3 of the 4 games I wouldn’t call that hat collecting. And let’s not talk about stats cause if you looked at em Cruz was the only one from md to hit well. Looks like Steve’s son shoved against #8 team in the country TBT for 3 1/3 only giving up 1 hit. If that’s not success I don’t know what is?? Was these kids first time in games so who cares how well they hit, Florida teams are 4 tournaments deep already. Get a life and stop worrying about if another families kid rides the bench or not it’s not your money! Diamond Kast, Hat collecting doesnt mean sitting the bench. Hat collecting means they play for whomever, whenever, and show no loyalty to one team. Kid in question quit mid-season - didn’t fold. Wouldn’t be coached, - refused to throw what was called on the mound , looked to his mommy when he didn’t like tough coaching and told other kids at Ripken tourney he was leaving and was just there to win game MVP pins. So yes - always 2 sides. But team jumping has to be fostered by parents.

If a team asks you to play for them and your full time team isn't playing, also buttuming the family was upfront with the full time coach, not hat collecting at all. Especially if that team is playing somewhere that offers the player a challenge like seeing low 80's from most of the pitchers. Maybe your son has never been asked to play or guest for another team. You can call it being loyal but it is really because your boy isn't at that level. And that is ok. Actually, my son made the All-MIAA team the past two seasons, and he never guest played for a team. He was loyal throughout his youth baseball career and our family didnt need to waste thousands of dollars like your family does. Actually my son made the All-MIAA team 5 years in a row. He was that good. If a family wants to take their boy to play baseball in cold-a$$ Feb in MD and play baseball, is that wasting 1000s? That's a matter of opinion. I would say that sounds awesome, ya moron.

How is it being un loyal when the player in question was 1 of 5 asked to go, which also included the head coaches son? Clearly there isn’t much baseball being played in Maryland in the middle of February. The team that contacted our team is a nationally ranked team, and it gave the players a chance to play competition above what they normally see in Maryland. This was a great opportunity to go to Florida enjoy 85 degree weather and play some phenomenal baseball teams.

Does this player in question play for Juan’s team? When you say ‘play’. They let him get some AB’s and catch when the games don’t matter. Cheerleads otherwise. But gets the gear and trophies

Some kids got 4 at bats. That’s brutal. That is four more than your kid got last weekend. SMH All the games mattered to get into bracket play.

Question for Steve. When your son attends a trash high school next year and plays with kids with no talent will you still be on this board every single day defending eveeyone. or will you be on here ranting about how your son is doing vs no talent kids? You r a joke. And u dont need to respond with some sob story about how everyone likes you and how you help people. no one gives a S***

You r a joke. And u dont need to respond with some sob story about how everyone likes you and how you help people. no one gives a S*** Well sir I wish I knew who you were so I could respond correctly but…..I would first suggest you learn to how even spell before you come on here and try and bash someone. My son had the opportunity to go to private school and play and HE decided not to go to Private school and attended public school not that he wasn’t talented enough to go. Just because he’s going to public school doesn’t mean there’s not talent. Is it as good as the miaa or wcac nope not hardly But there’s still talented players in AA county. I won’t be on here talking $HIT on anyone. If you have noticed I only defend KIDS: when grown men who bash KIDS. I don’t have to post about my son, when others speak him up. Call me a joke all you want you don’t hurt my feelings bro, I know I know more about the game than you ever have or will. Now go back to hooked on phonics learn to spell.

The most productive kids in pool play should be the ones batting in bracket play. I think a lot of kids will have a rude awakening when daddy isn’t the coach and they have to prove themselves like everyone else.
