Why would you update rankings off the first weekend of baseball.
If coaches are really trying to get prepared for the season they aren’t throwing a kid 80 pitches out the box, their rotating pitchers every inning or every 20 pitches.
Who cares what the score of a game is in February.

If one coach is clearly getting games in for work, then no.
You can say scrimmage all you want, if you aren’t clearly working on things and getting everyone work, ie; rotating pitchers every inning, working different defensive plays, then there’s no difference in a championship game and a run of the mill scrimmage. Now if your clearly getting work then it’s a scrimmage and it holds no weight.
