It’s people not from either team on here talking trash, if the actions of either team don’t affect you then leave it be.

Keep batting 9 and developing. Tools 2 kids didn’t hit at all over 2 games. Pulled a starting pitcher after 15 pitches. Other teams they played batted everyone. It’s March. But guess it’s worth it. They must be so proud of their win and tie. Big 7 run win off 4 hits. Ridiculous

Don’t talk sh*t if you don’t know sh*t Really - one kid pitched game 1 and the other kid played the field. Neither hit. So… Just not right to have a kid not hit in a March double header playing local teams. Not some tournament, just meaningless games. Whatever you think you’re teaching this kid who is a solid hitter, you’re not. API is teaching their bottom 6 that they’re role players for the top 6. Pat should be embarras sed. I know he’s not - but this will be over soon and maybe one day he’ll realize turning middle schoolers into 2nd tier teammates isn’t what’s best for them. At least Gambrills and MA Red Sox got it. And absent a few errors, Red Sox should’ve won - which is all that matters to Pat. Hope the starting pitcher who got pulled after 15 pitches gets over it. Always got to be looking over your shoulder in that team - unless you’re one of the top 4-5 that never leave the field or lineup. Middle school stars and scrubs - API

15 pitches is a legit barometer. Well coached teams target 15 pitches as a per inning goal.
I’d argue if the kid was pulled at 15 he likely shouldn’t have been out there at all… but I know/ I’m sure the parents paid.
Look thru the lens of a coach and you see some of these complaints are meritless. Batting 9, really? That’s a problem? That’s like arguing at 14 years old basketball players should be playing on 7’ rims. The kids not in the starting lineup get it, they may not like it but they get it.
Local coaching stinks as do the parents…. These teams have to have a wide range of talent. Some have dudes and role players - nothing wrong with that.
Trust me, MOST kids from this area playing in college are role players at best.
The only dudes in college from this area may be Wyatt, Locklear, Jeffrey Snider…. About it. Not many are everyday players killing it.

It’s about coach ego vs developing ALL their kids. Batting 9 is one thing, but not batting a kid at all is almost mean. Plenty of time to be role players, in college - maybe even high school. In a March double header when your opponent is batting all 12? Those other coaches are doing it right vs API Academy. Academy my arse.

Everyone batted for API though.. one kid didn’t bat because he has an injury that prevents him to bat, and only field. That kid is also one of their best hitters so why would Pat bench him? The other kid apparently got injured after only 1 AB. GameChanger doesn’t tell the whole story.

Spoke to Scott today and he even agreed these posts aren’t from GAC parents.
There’s no gate between these 2 teams, we don’t care they batted 9 good for them who cares. Worry about your own team, it isn’t our parents posting, it’s people who always come on here and try and stir the pot.
So coming from the source, congrats to API and Redsox for beating us we deserved to be beat. We didn’t perform and they did congrats.
Now time to move onto the next topic

I would take the API and Mid Atlantic coaching staffs over any other staff in the league. Hands down. Not even close.

Are you going to cry next year when your HS coach only bats 9? It will be based on merit- not daddyball These teams are usually based on merit. It’s not very likely that a number 10,11 & 12 battery is helping their team win.
