RBA Royals rising 13u will be holding open tryouts at 6pm on August 11 and August 18 (Tues/Tues). The location will be 3719 Littlestown Pike, Westminster, MD 21158 on the top field (behind basketball and tennis courts).
Program information:
- RBA is a private, corporately sponsored, non-profit (501c3) organization.
- RBA has been consistently ranked within the top 5 teams in the state of Maryland over the last 2.5 years (marylandbaseballreport.com).
- RBA has posted a 160-55-2 record spanning 4.5 seasons (including COVID delayed 12u). Note: formerly Manchester. We place development above winning however recognize that a successful W-L record will provide more games therefore more playing opportunities for the team members in tournament baseball - it is a balance.
- RBA is 17-7 for 12u 2020 including 35% of our regional tournament play being at the 13u 60/90 level to date.
- RBA will be playing a competitive local (against top teams on this forum), regional and national schedule in 2020/2021 at the 13u level and building towards showcase baseball at the high school level. We will play approximately 60 games in the span of the year.
- We will offer a multi-location team-centric indoor winter workout program that is reasonable distance for players in northern MD/southern PA along with players closer to the Baltimore region.
- We encourage players to participate in an individual professional training schedule (pitching, hitting, position specific) to further grow in skill, game knowledge and athleticism during the off-season. While this is not required, we believe that outside of game speed experience, most player development and advancement occurs in a 1:1 or small group professional training environment when games are not being played.
- RBA is a program designed for the competitive ball player who is looking to team with, compete with and strive to become an elite amateur while being consistently challenged both mentally and physically.
- Players and supportive families should be willing and able to dedicate a significant amount of their free time to training for and playing baseball.
- We have zero tolerance policy for player or parent drama within our youth/amateur sports program. There is no place for it in person, on social media or any other internet platforms. If the aforementioned areas of commitment or program requirements are a challenge for you, please do not attend an RBA tryout or workout.
