Though my sons team didn’t fair as well, looks like RBA just won their second straight tournament, and Gambrills beat Mid Atlantic Shockers at SATB in the Championship 10-2.
Crazy to see these boys from 8u til now, and how they have developed. Some of these boys have really became outstanding ball players. The future of Maryland baseball is bright.

IMO, the teams to beat in Maryland are Olney, Gambrills, MA Red Sox, & RBA Royals. I would love to see a weekend of these teams going at it. My son's team have faced (killed by) all of these teams over the last few years. Olney seems to have the same solid core every year and can flat out murder the ball and the Red Sox have the kid who played up last year throwing gas for them now. Gambrills seems to get better each year and if they can add some pieces to the core they have already, watch out. RBA is so solid fundamentally. They don't make many mistakes and keep grinding. I don't see many other teams in Maryland that wow me like the ones I mentioned.

The Garrett Timber Rattlers beat the MA Red Sox 13-1 two weeks who and lost to the RBA Royals by 3. The game vs the royals was tied after 4. Don’t forget about the teams in the western part of the state!!
