Anyone else? The options out there seem to be limited unfortunately.

Personally my son goes to John D and probably always will as long as we stay in MD.

For those who have taken their kid to pitching lessons. What time of year do you take them? Winter before season starts? Ideally would be during season but wouldn't that be too much wear and tear on the arm?

Just my family's opinion, We personally don't like our son playing fall baseball. So we get him into John over the fall 2x a month just to work on different things. Then shut it down 10/31 till January when winter workouts start. Again this is what we feel is best for our son.

Who is John D? C'mon and share the wealth!
Personally, I believe players should continue to throw... but tone down the intensity, duration, etc. Keep those muscles and ligaments elongated.

John is a well respected pitching coach. If you want your kid to get better that is where to take him.
