LHP w/ Philadelphia Phillies Elite Throwing Program 2021-22

Hello all! My name is JP Woodward, a LHP currently playing with the Philadelphia Phillies Organization.  I am running the Prime Throwing Academy at Prime Sports Performance with certified trainer Andrew Sacks this winter.  I can promise you there is no place for your son/daughter to get better this winter and learn to throw at an elite level.  A little about myself:I signed in 2020 with the Phillies after 3 years at Lafayette College in PA, where I was a walk on with 0 college offers coming out of high school.  I am from Baltimore, and spend my off-seasons here, and am running the PSP throwing academy this winter in the Rosedale/Essex/Parkville area, but we have kids from all over the state coming.  If there is one thing I can tell you for certain having been through high school, playing at a D1 school, and now being in pro ball it is that all these showcases, camps, and hundreds of tournaments will not be the answer to advancing their games.  The number one thing I have seen with kids moving to the next levels and advancing their games is getting into a program where the people understand modern baseball training and throwing.  Prime Sports Performance, run by Andrew Sacks (who has gotten me from low 80's to low to mid 90's) is hands down the best trainer in Maryland and I can not state that enough.  Aside from training with Andrew or our awesome trainers, I will be running the throwing academy this winter, and I can guarantee there will not be a better place for your son/daughter to become a better ballplayer, develop velocity the healthy way, learn to take care of their arms, and more importantly learn what it takes to dedicate themselves to their careers.  I have already helped multiple kids gain significant velocity just from a few weeks in the program, and would love to help your child as well.  Aside from this, PSP is opening a brand new facility with a state of the art weight room, several thousand sq. ft hitting and pitching tunnels/areas, modern baseball technology including Rapsodo, and coaches with modern baseball knowledge like Driveline pitch certification and much more.  I also specialize in pitch design aside from mechanical analysis, and this will become much more important as we approach spring, but right now is the time to get in the weight room, perfect those mechanics, and become a beast this offseason, and there is no better place to do that than the PSP throwing academy.
