Hope they do 12u and 14u. The least competitive and incoherent age groups.

Va stars 14u lost all their big names to Richmond Braves 14 and 15u team.
Didn’t a MD team beat VA Stars Camp last year? First time it had been done by a MD team??

Hope they do 12u and 14u. The least competitive and incoherent age groups. I think you have it wrong, their the most competitive age groups in the state, which causes the most chatter and BS.

Va stars 14u lost all their big names to Richmond Braves 14 and 15u team. Didn’t a MD team beat VA Stars Camp last year? First time it had been done by a MD team?? That Stars Camp team was completely dominate since 9u. Heard they broke up after 13u. No MD team could compete with them. They carried 10 players and didn’t have guests. Just about every kid pitched. Played great D and hit all day long. At one point there were 3 former MLB Dads on the coaching staff with kids on the team. Richmond Braves also a different level program than those in MD. Is what it is.

They did not totally break up this year; but their ace and like 2-3 others kids left the team after the 13u season. The only Maryland team I’ve ever heard of beating them was Gambrills last year. The Braves are an amazing showcase program but they are becoming like most others and fielding weaker teams growing their brand.
