My son's team is not going to Cooperstown this year. He has always wanted to go, so we are considering going as a guest player. What are your thoughts, especially with COVID, on Cooperstown and is the experience really worth the cost? Over $2,000 for a week-long tournament seems a little excessive to me.

Is your sons team doing any other destination tournaments for him to experience? If you have the money I would say go and let him experience it. I’ve heard both good and bad experiences. For 1 there’s not much to do other then play baseball.

I would recommend going but be selective with the team you choose. You want nice kids and good families. It’s a long week but one of the best experiences for the kids. Been to myrtle, pf, you name it but Cooperstown is just different in a good way. Is it worth it? That’s a tough question since we all shell out so much anyway.
