Olney came out and made a statement against a great minuitmen team putting a 11-0 win on the board. This was definitely needed after loosing to their own “B” team in a tournament earlier this fall. They are missing several key players due to injury but loosing to your b team any time can definitely affect your ranking, especially since this was a tournament.
Looks like teams better watch out for Gambrills after sweeping Elkridge last weekend and than stunning a very good MD Crush team 17-3 today. Gambrills seems to be in full swing putting up impressive numbers at the plate and on the bump.
A team to watch seems to be API. Team has definitely gotten stronger beating Lakeshore who looks to of lost a lot of names from last year, and playing to a tie against Gambrills, but based on GameChanger Gambrills was definitely getting pitchers work and not going for the throat, but no matter what API seems like a new top 10 contender.
12u division seems to be shaping up to be a fun year.

I was at the HCYP tournament and I can honestly say that I have never seen a team hit the ball harder than Gambrills 12u hit this weekend. Lucky for us we had to play them on the bigger field, but they still almost had 3 HRs. Even their ground balls were scary!!! Hats off.

Well Aces I feel that you are unaware of the facts. Looking at Gambrills GameChanger today looks like the best up on Elkridge A twice, Crush Twice, and now it looks like All Star Baseball Club and All Out Pack from New Jersey.... so I think maybe you should re consider Gambrills beating up on B teams as a statement

John.... 12u in Maryland is weak based on what? We just beat a PA and NJ team by run rule ask how are we weak? I’m not saying we are the best in the nation but when you see a good teams top pitchers and put up big numbers it’s something to be said. PA team was 20-2 last year the.NJ team was 36-15 beating big name teams like Diamond Jacks Gold and SJ young guns, who are perennial power house teams out of Jersey.
Maryland baseball has been getting stronger and stronger

John Tollison- I would love for you to add some substance to your statement. RBA Royals, Olney, Calvert Tide, Gambrills?? Was your kid cut or something and now you’re throwing a hissy fit?

That would be 3 B teams.

Comparing those same teams with the same organizations. Example: 13u Olney would have absolutely destroyed the 12U team if comparing teams at same age. 11U age group and 13U are way more competitive. It’s not even close.

Aces
Yes we did beat up on them but they registered for the same tourney as us not like we asked to scrimmage them. But have you looked at the 7 other victory’s that are all A teams? We are out of state beating NJ and PA teams.
Any other input?🤷♂️
