How are the rankings compiled? What criteria is used? I’m curious. There are few teams in the top 10 that are very surprising given Who have they beat. For example HCYP Blue is ranked and they barely beat there B team 9-8 for which Gambrills 13U destroyed this week 16-4 & 20-0

IMO, Rankings and arguments for ranking should be based on 1) Head to head wins 2) Common Opponent wins 3) Accomplishments.
With that said, Gambrills Aces (13u) prior to the Spring season has wins over 1. Calvert Tide (1-0 last season vs Tide), White Marsh Warriors, multiple wins over Baltimore Redbirds and Rawlings A’s, HCYP Blue, and Mid-Atlantic Red Sox. Also have a win over Dig In.
However, Gambrills has a recent lost to Mid-Maryland United and Dig In. Prior to 13u, losses to Burtonsville and HCYP.
Just a general guess to rankings for 13u.
1. Olney 2. Dig In 3. Gambrills Aces 4. Calvert Tide 5. Mid-Maryland United 6. HCYP Blue 7. Burtonsville 8. South River (Green) 9. White Marsh 10. Mid-Atlantic Shocker 11. Hickory Hornets 12. Mid-Atlantic Red Sox 13. PAL 14. Rawlings A’s 15. Lake Shore

This is for the gambrills fan to answer first of all u go on about how u have beat these teams in the past years but you haven't I play for white marsh and we have beat you in numerous occasions I have pictures of our team with 1st place trophies with u guys coming in second for example usssa battle at Germantown and Kent island icebreaker tournament. U also go on a hate trip to hcyp who is a very elite team along with Calvert tide, who by the way we beat last weekend 9-0. So before you complain have I info to back it up because you are wrong in some of the stuff you are saying. P.s are record overall vs your team is 7-1

So before you complain have I info to back it up because you are wrong in some of the stuff you are saying. P.s are record overall vs your team is 7-1 Take it easy. Not sure who White Marsh has beaten or lost to, but I'll give credit where credit is due. White Marsh certainly has a reasonable claim for one of the top rankings. I do see where White Marsh beat Calvert, and can you provide some results, if any, versus Olney or Dig In? You have to understand that this is a public forum and healthy debates are encouraged, but baseball is weird when it comes to rankings cause most of these teams have beaten each other at some point or another. Please feel free to post results and other information that may be helpful to create accurate "unofficial rankings." I'm trying to research results on various sites, then update accordingly. Based off of CRAB rankings and results, MABA rankings and results, tournament wins and losses, along with GameChanger the Rankings should look more like this: 1. White Marsh Warriors 2. Dig In T3. Calvert Tide T3. Gambrills Aces T4. Olney Pirates T4. Mid-Maryland United 5. South River (Green) 6. Mid-Atlantic Shockers 7. Williamsport Angels 8. Mid-Atlantic Red Sox T9. LF Archers T9. Sykesville Cyclones 10. Burtonsville Storm 11. Elkridge Hurricanes 12. UMAC Attack 13. HCYP Blue T14. API T14. PAL T15. Dulaney Cubs 16. Rawlings A’s Black 17. BigBie’s Black Sox 18. Fallston Cougars 19. Baltimore Redbirds 20. Hickory Hornets 21. BCCC Warriors 22. Bowie Bulldogs NOTE: Gambrills has the recent H2H over Tide. Mid-Maryland has a H2H over Gambrills, but a split to Tide. LF Archers and Sykesville have H2H over each other in a recent double header. LF Archers also has a win over HCYP Blue. HCYP has losses to LF Archers and Severna Park. Burtonsville has losses to LF Archers and Gambrills. Williamsport Angels and UMAC Attack has a win over Mid-Atlantic Red Sox, Elkridge has a loss to Burtonsville. API split in a recent double header. Rawlings A's has a recent loss to Dulaney. Many other H2H's throughout the rankings but nothing else notable.

To gambrills fan
I saw what you answered back to me I would like to apologize for my harsh remarks against you and your team. In the past we have played your team and I think your team is very deserving of being in the rankings. After checking differnet leagues I do see your team is in first in Maba and that your team is doing well. I wish you good luck in the rest of your season

Unofficial rankings after this weekends games. Let me know if there is something glaring that doesn't look right. There were a lot of situations that needed some thinking. For example: Bowie won the Fruitland tournament over the Mid-Atlantic Shockers, but Bowie has a few loses (Red Sox, API). LF Archers lost to Williamsport and Dulaney. Williamsport stays put, but Dulaney needed to move up slightly for a good win over LF.
*wins at the 9u, 10u, and 11u level don't matter at the present 13u level.
1. White Marsh Warriors
2. Dig In
3. Calvert Tide
4. Mid-Maryland United
T5. Gambrills Aces
T5. Olney Pirates
6. South River (Green)
7. Williamsport Angels
8. Mid-Atlantic Red Sox
T9. LF Archers
T9. Sykesville Cyclones
10. Burtonsville Storm
11. Elkridge Hurricanes
T12. API
T12. PAL
13. Dulaney Cubs
14. BCC Big Train
15. UMAC Attack
16. HCYP Blue
17. Rawlings A’s Black
18. Bowie Bulldogs
19. Mid-Atlantic Shockers
20. BigBie’s Black Sox
21. Fallston Cougars
22. Baltimore Redbirds
23. Hickory Hornets
24. BCCC Warriors
25. TowsonTowne T-Birds

Our Bowie team has 2 losses and 9 wins for this season already. These boys have earned their way up. We beat half of these top teams already. But they have fun and play with clbutt.

Can you tell me who the 9 wins are and who the 2 losses are? I know one is to API. API has many common opponents. Here is how I break down my unofficial rankings:
1) Head to head wins 2) Common Opponent wins 3) Accomplishments.
I have followed many teams on GC and spent hours researching past tournaments at the 12u, 13u Fall, and this Spring season. Sorry if I overlooked Bowie, but I feel I have them ranked approximately where they should be based off of their loss to API.

Got it...thanks! Bowie is on its way up. They will have head to head matchups with API, and PAL soon and that should settle things. I will be sure to follow Bowie in tournaments as well. Thanks for the link.

This past weekend White Marsh won the Mason Dixon Slugfest going 5-0 which followed their #1 seeding at Hershey the week prior in a rain shortened tournament. Their top ranking is deserved as of now. One team missing from the rankings are the Blue Chips from Harford County MD. They won at Ripken this past weekend. This coming weekend there are several good teams battling it out in the Severn Spring Break Tournament including Dig In, White Marsh, South River, UMAC, Calvert Tide and Rawlings A's (Both Rawlings A's teams are there so not sure if Gray or Black is the A Team)

Thanks! I did see Blue Chips Baseball Club won a Ripken tournament this past weekend, but only MD team they beat was Maryland Baseball Club. All others are out of state. Blue Chips out of Churchville rec council are on the radar. It is my understanding that they start travel/showcase ball at 13u. Anyone else know any more details?
The Severn Spring Break will be a good one. Did not see Dig In on the list of teams registered. Teams registered per site:
Severn Seminoles
South River Seahawks (not sure if it is Ford's team or Green)
UMAC Attack
Calvert Tide
BCCC Warriors
Rawlings A's Gray
Rawlings A's Black (ranked team)
White Marsh
