Blue Chips are just a glorified travel team no different then any other. I know their organization well and would not clbuttify them as a showcase team at 13U. The organization starts at 13U and they basically do what others do and acquire players from other quality teams from around the area. MD Baseball club was in Hershey two weeks ago with White Marsh and didnt fare too well so beating them at Ripken was no great accomplishment. Ripken had a weak field this past weekend.
You are right there is no Dig In at Severn.

Excellent...does that mean you can give any details on their schedule, game changer link, league they play in or tournaments they are registered for? Just looking for ways to keep track.

The last rankings look good. I saw most of the action this weekend at Severn and South River is a very strong team. White Marsh beat UMAC 6-0 to get to the championship. The championship was a back and forth match and SR won it in the end. BCCC warriors also gave SR as much as they could handle at Severn in the semis and should be ranked higher. LF is ranked way too high as WM beat them at Mason Dixon very handily. UMAC way too high as well. Just my two cents.

UMAC should be ranked higher, or are they too high right now? UMAC has a wins over Mid-Atlantic Redsox. They also have some losses that are keeping them back.
BCCC is a tough team and always on the radar, but do not have any significant wins. Keeping games close doesn't warrant moving a team up.
Yes, White Marsh beat LF handily, but at the time WM was #1. LF has some good quality wins and their ranking is legit.
Can't justify moving a team up due to having a close game with a higher ranked team, nor can you justify moving a team down because they got blown out by a top ranked team. I keep an updated spreadsheet with the top 30 teams, which include: Head to Head match-ups, and tournament wins and losses. Most of these teams see each other at some point or another, except for a few that only register in "open" or "B" division for tournaments.
1. South River (Green)
2. White Marsh
3. Mid-Maryland United
4. Olney Pirates
5. Gambrills Aces
6. Williamsport Angels
7. UMAC Attack
8. Mid-Atlantic Red Sox
9. LF Archers
10. Sykesville Cyclones
11. Burtonsville Storm
12. Elkridge Hurricanes
13. BCCC Warriors
14. API
15. PAL
16. Rawlings A’s Black
17. Calvert Tide
18. BCC Big Train
19. HCYP Blue
20. Bowie Bulldogs
21. Mid-Atlantic Shockers
22. BigBie’s Black Sox
23. Fallston Cougars
24. Baltimore Redbirds
25. Dulaney Cubs

To Gambrills fan
I think your rankings after the Severn tournamnet are very accurate. I think south river Seahawks at no 1 is placed right they are by far the best team in the stat. After playing them Sunday and Saturday in the Severn tourney they have 6 plus kids throwing in the mid 70’s. And they have multiple kids hitting the baseball 400ft. I not only think they’d eserve the no 1 spot in Maryland they might even be no 1-10 in the mid atlantic

Thanks and I agree. South River (Green) have been good for quite some time. 30 plus wins and 3 losses since Fall 2017. A lot of the better teams in the state have the same qualities, but SR seems to have everything rolling for them at the moment. Our area is as good as it gets for baseball on the East Coast, if not the top area competition-wise. Teams come down from NY, PA, NJ all the time are wind up 0-2 in pool play. Our 13u teams travel North and hang their own.
Couple teams in the East Coast and Tri-State Area that come to mind: Tri-State Arsenal (12u National Champs), Delmarva East (Consider them a DE team, although out of Berlin), EvoShield Canes 13u-Maxwell (MD Team, but EvoShield is traditionally a showcase team), GoWags Crusaders, NJ Axemen.

Looking at all of the rankings and we (As Black) ran into a Delmarva Aces East team that was really stout. Looked at their record on GC and they are already playing 14U events down on shore. Don’t know where you guys rank them but they were good. Big strong kids
