Lakeshore has lost 2 of its best players leaving them with only 10.
There’s strong speculation that the team may fold.
This is all after the head coach left after the 12U season.
Has been a steady decline over the past few seasons, the former power house Is now not even a top 20 contender.

Powerhouse? Did people who played on this team consider them a “ Powerhouse “ or did other people? More like a show , not a power house ....

My guess is that your son once played on the one time “powerhouse “ team and now that he has moved on the team has declined in stature.?
I’m also interested in hearing where the “best players” from LS went... Those teams must be automatically moved into the top 5 power rankings since they acquired 2 players from a “powerhouse “ team ?

For anyone to say that Lakeshore wasn’t a dominate team in their respective age group for 4 seasons under Paul, to me is just crazy.
8U- undefeated
9U- 55-10-1
10U- 37-16-2
11U- 49-19-1
Not many teams around here have produced those type of records for 4 straight seasons.

Looks like Gambreels solidified their #1 defeating API Delaware Diamonds and Olney, but only after barely beating WHC. Seems like they saved the best for last defeating Olney who is the other top ranked team in the state. Anyone have more inside info on the weekends tournament?  |
