So with all the tryouts for every elite team let’s be honest. How many true elite per age group teams are there? 2-3 I would say. 2-4 above average teams and then average. That would cover the state of Maryland. Coaches need to stop the sales pitches. Be open and honest. The tryout flyers are embarrbutting for you actually when you brag about your average team being elite. No wonder parents are bat sheet crazy now. They think Tommy is elite until HS happens.

It’s not a good thing when you have a person in your organization that encourages kids from other organizations to leave their current team.
ESPECIALLY when that same person charges for his services.
It’s not a good look.
Talk to a college coach and ask how he/she feels about leaving a team that you already committed to.
The baseball community is much smaller than you think. Especially when you are not and have not ever been part of it.
Trust your judgement when making decisions that effect others.
Go ahead and say something stupid about a sewing machine.

We have spent every season since 9u replacing kids and recruiting other kids so that we can be the best team around. We became the SUPER TEAM! Yes, rankings are important. The kids want to know. Even if most of our kids didn’t start with our team. Juan made these guys the best in the state!! |

Actively recruiting players from other teams is why nobody respects you and your organization. You are actually looked at as a joke and you don’t even see it. I ask again for the coaching background of these “coaches” that know what’s best for kids. |

You take this way too seriously dude. It's obvious you have an issue with a coach / team. Why don't you put your big boy pants on and have an actual conversation with said coach / org? You seem pretty close to them. Why come on here to gripe, unless you're too scared to be a man and talk face to face.
Bottom line is, NOBODY CARES, especially as much as you do. This time next year, everyone will be sucking up to their high school coach and learning they probably have to bail on their previous summer team.
This age bracket will be a thing of the past, and honestly I can't wait.
