All age groups are elligible for this one.
What team is most likely to reach out to a kid that is on another teams roster? In season Or Out of season
Remember, all age groups are encouraged to participate. Share your experiences without naming the coaches or players involved.

Why you just look like your trying to stir the pot and start some drama Mr. ?. Are you in your feelings? Because of coaches doing everything they can to form a “super team” It’s happens at every age group. Some coaches let their parents do the dirty work so they don’t get caught. It’s really sad. Let the kids play!!

Lee Blades chews them up and spits them out. Ask Jack. Please tell me how we chewed jack up and spit him out? Jack wasn’t cut from Gambrills he was offered a spot back on the team and elected not to return. Jack wasn’t recruited to Gambrills either. I can name 1 kid who was actually recruited to Gambrills. Get your facts right before you come on a public forum running your mouth and not know what happened.

So what does recruited mean? A former coach of a kid shooting a text to the parent letting them know when tryouts are? A parent talking to another parent? An unmarked envelope with money in it appearing in the front seat of your car?
Isn't it up to the parent and child to decide where they want to play?
Maybe, juuuuust maybe, your kid sucks and has never been asked. Or you are a coach who isn't very good and is losing your best player, who you probably didn't develop by the way, he got that good from going out in his yard and playing, it was nothing you did.
I'm not saying that is definite but before you try to start crap about Gambrills or Diamond Elite or who ever it is that has folks pissed off this week for being good maybe you should check your panties to make sure you're not spotting and get the hell over it.
IT'S NOT YOUR KID.

IT'S NOT YOUR KID. Coaches that promise development. That’s actually comical. 75% of development is on the player. Does the player work outside of practice? Some kids love the game and want to get better. Other kids have parents that want it more than them and blame coaches for the lack of development. We have seen it time and time again.

Some kids love the game and want to get better. Other kids have parents that want it more than them and blame coaches for the lack of development. We have seen it time and time again. I could agree more. I think a coach is better served at saying "We will play as difficult schedule as we can against the best possible competition." Over the standard "We want to mold these young men thru the development of their baseball skill." That's not to say I want some D-Bag coaching my kid just because they will play against good teams. To tie it back into the OP, a lot of the people I've seen and heard complain about the recruiting of players are coaches that have been gifted a number of talented players, who then left kids stranded on the bench without ever letting natural competition for positions take place on their own team. As kids get older an honest buttessment needs to be made by a lot of these guys. Who was a great SS at 10U might not be that way at 12U. You play the same teams for the most part year after year. You start to get to know the other parents. Number are exchanged. The end of the season rolls around and tryouts are coming up and one parent texts the other about tryouts. I see absolutely nothing wrong with this.
