Prospects of Rawlings Mcvey holds Diamond Elite to 4 hits and 1 run. Scrimmage game or not. That’s a good win. Diamond Elite isnt looking like the powerhouse in Maryland they once were. |

Players playing fall sports?
I’m sure they will be just fine come spring, Steve does a great job with that program.

Where did it shift too? Even the Yankees lose a game here or there and the Os win a game here or there looks like its a 3 man race. Diamond Elite Gambrills , Spartan Warriors. All 3 teams are very good. Diamond Elites only losses came to those 2 teams. I dont the scrimmage that Diamond Elite played last night against Rawlings. Even though it was just a scrimmage I think Rawlings made a statement in that game. Olney showed this past weekend that they can compete with the good teams. Not sure where Shockers and Baltimore Baseball Club will fit in. Im not affiliated with any of the teams mentioned but do have son in 12u but cant wait for spring. Just have to settle for basketball until then |

Shockers dominated 9U & 10U. Diamond Elite dominated 11U. Spartan Warriors have some studs and will always be in the mix. Gambrills has had a very impressive fall. BBC is very well coached and has talent. Cant we just appreciate the talent this state is producing at the 12u age group instead of arguing over which team is best or celebrating when one takes an L? 12U rankings can change as kids bodies are changing. It should be a fun year if the adults can behave and let the spotlight shine on the kids

I don’t have a kid in the age group but have seen this age group progress through the years.
Gambrills must be the shock of all the teams, guessing them kicking Vance out and having the new guy take over has been a great decision.
Diamond Elite had a rough stretch it happens to every team.
The kid on DE Badillo or how ever you say his name can straight up smash. Kid has a ton of raw untapped talent.
Word is SE has the best pitcher in the state in their ace.

Anthony is a baller no doubt about it I think you meant Spartan Warriors best pitcher in the state. I would have to agree with you. #9 is a K machine and his bat is just as good. The the guy asking about the top teams. Diamond Elite is still king IMO they are missing one of thier best pieces due to injury that will be back in the spring. Spartans are very strong. Gambrills has exploded on the scene out of no where with some very good pick ups. BBC is always competitive and so are Gowe and his shockers with the horses he has. Olney always a tuff team. HCYP white will be a surprise to many next spring. Watch! they have only getting better over the past couple seasons. Hopefully you will have all these teams in a tournament next spring cause i think this past 11u tournament with them all in it was great. Stay healthy and safe |
