Gambrills did win that game. I have no one in the fight, but caught only the end of the game. The Rawlings fans were yelling at the gambrills sidelines. It looked like it was just moms. I don't know what's going on over there at Rawlings, but you can definitely tell that they were not happy about something. Maybe someone with some better intel can elaborate on the matter. Sounds interesting to say the least!

We have played the Rawlings team 3 times this fall. This last time in the tournament, the kids said that they were constantly being talked down to. 11 year olds cursing and showing zero signs of sportsmanship. Bragging about how good they were. It doesn’t shock me one bit that the parents acted the same way. Where do you think the kids learn from?

I was there as well. I know a bit about the history, just not who pulled the plug. After seeing Rawlings I know who ended that relationship. Good job Gambrills. Those parents are nuts, mostly the moms. its 11u baseball. Enjoy it. Most all those kids won't play ball much longer. The big field will eat them up. I've seen way better travel teams and they end up with 3-4 kids who prove to be HS players. These 2 teams i watched may have 1-2 between them. Sorry, just facts. let your 11 and 12 year olds enjoy this. Don't ruin it for them. The 90 is close and will do that for them. Sit, watch, shut up. I now know why that team is gone, wasn't hard to see Sunday.

Bad Moms you are exactly right. The Rawlings dads or so they call themselves coaches will ruin the game for their kids. They think they are raising the next Trout and from what I've seen there is no Trout on that team or even close. If they play some real competition they will get beat bad and then the daddies will just come up with some excuse or try to move their Trout to another team. Get over yourselves Rawlings daddies/coaches. It should be all about the 11 year old kid and not what you didn't do when you were 11.

How can this be his 4th or 5th team? That would mean that he has been on a different team since his son was 8U. If that is true, that is some serious red flags. Rawlings is a brand name. I'm surprised that they are willing to allow a second 11U team to drag their name in the mud.

I can absolutely confirm that Dawson's kid started at Lake Shore 8U. They left the team mid season and went to Severn. The following year some idiot gave him a head coaching job. Now I see a second idiot handed him a head coaching job for Rawlings 11U B team.
