Ya'll take this too serious. No matter how good your kid is at 12U it means absolutely nothing. No matter how good your team is at 12U, it means absolutely nothing.
You're not getting recruited at 12, you're not signing a pro contract. Build a foundation on the value of hard work, sportsmanship and character. A lot of parents and teams forget that just to chase winning and their own failed dreams.
You want validation and to post on social media all while forgetting you're supposed to be setting an example for kids. Why would anyone want to be apart of a team with drama always following them? If you're truly trying to do whats best for your kid keep them in a good environment where they can love the game and not have to worry about how the grown ups act. This truly is a black eye for MD baseball

It was a bitter DE parent/coach attacking others mad they were the poached instead of doing the poaching themselves. They fight with everyone now they are fighting with themselves.

I don't understand how this is being blamed on Wayne plus the things being said about Wayne.
1. Wayne's son has been with DE since maybe 8u? How can you say he hops from team to team?
2. His son wasn't getting the playing time so they left and decided to go to a new team. So what? Should he have stayed and sat on the bench instead?
3. Other DE people went to the team Wayne's son went to. Why does it mean that Wayne made them go? If the DE people were happy at DE they wouldn't leave.
Let's see who is actually to blame for this downfall: Example: Steve decides last tournament to bench his players for kids whose families have paid zero dollars towards anything (not the families fault but this is the reality), practiced with the team maybe once and said well they came to the scrimmage on practice day so they get to play over other kids who have been on the team for YEARS! It's that simple

Not sure what all the facts are behind the whole situation but he did go to a players house and he knew it was wrong after. Steve is a good guy we all have demons in our closet. Was there a knife idk did the police get called idk. But i will say from the info that came out and for someone i looked out for and look out for thier child. I would be pretty pissed to if someone i did things for couldnt keep it a buck with me and at least lmk what is going on. Again the only people that know what really happen are Steve and Papi. Im sure the story has gotten a 100 different scenarios. |
