At least one of them doesn’t even start for GAC. Does he have to wear a 3* jersey? Yea but….. How about he came from Gorc and has made huge strides in the few months he’s been with us and I’m sure you will see him starting more and more Come the spring. Kids has a cannon for an arm I would put his work ethic against anyone’s. If your not his parents don’t worry about what the kid does or does not do for us or 5 Star. How about “ hey congrats kid you have made huge strides, went from a weaker to a good team, just keep working your butt off as hard work beats lazy talent every day”! He’s been on a different team every year for the last 5 years. That’s crazy |

Maybe some can elaborate, but why are some organizations just bad. Some have great facilities, but their travel teams are just not competitive.
The GORC’s, Severn’s, AYRA, Broadneck’s. There is more. Anyone know?

Maybe some can elaborate, but why are some organizations just bad. Some have great facilities, but their travel teams are just not competitive. The GORC’s, Severn’s, AYRA, Broadneck’s. There is more. Anyone know? I don’t know about the rest, but Severna Park Green Hornets underperform b/c of the commissioner. He prioritizes rec and is a pebble in the shoe of the travel coaches. Gives last choice to practice fields, won’t allow tournaments be held at Kinder Park and is non-responsive. What’s worse is he takes control of things like uniforms and then totally screw’s it up. He’s real bad. Most good coaches seem to leave for API and take A level talent with them. But I think that’s your answers. These programs are more focused on rec than fielding top travel teams. Coaches don’t want to deal with lack of support so go elsewhere and take top kids with them |

The ones that care or cater more to the rec program are the ones that are failing their travel teams. It’s not necessarily a bad thing for the organization as a whole, but that is the main reason why the talent leaves. Those organizations will always be like that. They’re not built to compete. Unfortunately nobody ever says, I want to play for GORC, or Crofton or Severn. But they do have great little rec programs. |

Once respected as a quality travel org, they are horrible. The board gives Rec ball everything, never put the new 90 foot in, instead put in 2 tee ball grbutt fields that they said cost close to 100k. Only org I know locally to get audited by the irs and then fail the audit. |

Hcyp white is the only exception for a b team that can now beat their a team. Name another team that their B team competes? Without naming a national team like 5 star. I’ll wait. Perfect example of a B team that is better than most other organizations “A” team. I agree the Bucs are better than most "A" teams. So, does that make them an "A"? Walk The Plank is intended for "B" teams. If you're better than most "A" teams, why play in a "B" team tournament? |

What does that say about all of this nonsense? You guys are constantly arguing about insignificant B teams from AA county. “Best in the state” means all of Maryland. Stay In your bubble and you will get pbutted by quickly. |

If we’re seriously talking “B” teams as in not the A team in whatever organization the best 2 B teams are HCYP white and the Mid Atlantic Shockers Hastings and I don’t think it’s even close as those 2 teams have shown to compete against the top level teams

The old pirates team is pretty much gone and whom stayed combined with the old bucs team…. The old bucs beat the old pirates to and some other quality teams. The new bucs is probably a true B team.
So again to whom has the hcyp white team best that’s good

No tension at all. Look at the facts and I guarantee they will not be in any of the top tourneys in the state and there are 4 of them right now. Bank on it. They play Fruitland and other tournaments.
