Someone needs to take a step back and humble themself.
You are going to lose opportunities for your son who’s a very talented player. Let his playing speak for its self!! celebrate every accomplishment, he has post it to every social media platform you want.
Don’t do what you did today, posting he’s a free agent after just leaving a team just to get people stirring the pot with your sons name in it.
Learn from some of the older guys that are monsters, you never hear a word. Silent is deadly.
And to say you will only play Perfect Game events at 12, that’s probably one of the most audacious things I’ve ever heard from a parent.
The kids 12 he’s talented, if he’s so good instead of worry about perfect game stats that no one will look at in a few years, maybe he should play up and not be so dominating on little kids. He will be a better ball player in the long run!!
Good luck to Papi and the #1 player in the state, and what ever team in Maryland he’s on if he’s on a team.

May change every day of the week. FYI both kids are on the older end of their age group. Maybe they should both play up.

DE #11 was hands down the best player in the state. He just gets a bad wrap because of his dad.

So if their in the upper end of the age group they only get 1 year on the 90 before high school. This is a huge disadvantage to them! Size will catch up speed will catch up. Who’s gonna work the hardest, outwork the competition and stay ahead of the pack?

Overbearing dadees, and coaches, end up sucking the life out of good ball players. It just takes time.

Who’s gonna work the hardest, outwork the competition and stay ahead of the pack? Teams should be by grad year. All these "stud" players are usually considerably older than the kids they dominate.

It all evens out as soon as they go to high school. Doesn’t matter if your 14 or 16 your facing the same competition. What til you get to 13 and above in Perfect Game and are facing re clbutt kids that are almost 2 years older than kids on your team. It’s goes by grade year not age, and parents purpose re clbutt their kids. Fortunately PG changed to no more than 2 re clbutt players per team.

You have kids in 12u turning 13 in May playing against kids with April birthdays. Would those same kids dominate playing a year up in 13u?

If the cut off was September 1st people would still complain that the September kids are bigger than the August kids. Wait until high school. Be a freshman against seniors then see. But now there are parents holding kids back so they'll be sophomore aged playing as a freshman. Red shirting in high school. There's alway going to be someone bigger faster stronger no matter where you play.

Any dad that thinks 12 year olds should be recruited now or need more eyes on them while they are still on the little field are nightmares for their kids. Lets just hope living out their dreams through their kids doesnt hurt their father/son relationship in the long run
