Don’t ask people to rank coaches and not be willing to do it yourself because if this site as shown anything you probably going to come back with an ignorant response to whatever list is put up so please by all means go ahead and put your list up.

The best coaches are the ones that are truly in it for their players development and helping to get them to the next level. Not chasing trophies.

Well everyone wants to know what guru Wayne thinks now. Well if your going for coaches that have played the sport and know baseball in and out. Now i dont know all the coaches resumes but based off background have to go Grossi and Wooden. Scott hasnt been at the head yet so we dont know how it will play out to the youth. But i know Woodens resume since 6u and has been soild ever since. 75% of the kids that my son played against at 6u is still on the roster and the team is pretty competitive. Will consider BBC a top team in MD imo. I hear US Elite has a soild staff as well but again hasnt played together long so we will find out in a few months. Olney has always been soild as well. Gowe has been putting winners on the field since 7u as well. Even though they have had some roster turn around over the years. You got my opinion. Some one else chime in

Some one else chime in I think there are a lot of coaches that know the game. Some more than others. But the ones that are able to have children retain it and use it. Now that's exactly what a great youth coach is all about. The resumes of peoples past aren't impressive to me. The product on and off the field in the present means more to me in my opinion. If you have to bring up that you were a college player in order for anyone to take you series, then you're not coaching right. I wish all the coaches good luck. You all don't get the praise you deserve from some ungrateful parents and kids.

This reclbutting is all just oriented to the age-old failed at life parents living vicariously through their kids. Considering you reclbutt 1 or 2 times in HS and/or entering college. You are now 23-24 years old entering your senior campaign. There are kids in High School being drafted that are better than you. There are kids in DR and PR coming off of the island at 16-18 years old that are better than you. The only purpose it served is for stat rats and ego maniac parents to say "look, my son dominated younger players for a few years during school". It serves no good purpose for the player because it catches up to them at some point that there are better players out there. Watching a 15.5- to 16-year-old dominate 14 year old in the 2025 clbutt for example, is shameful on the part of the parents. But the good news is that the 14-year-old wins in the end. Makes them a better/stronger player and learn to deal with adversity and the ebb and flow of a difficult game in HS and College. Hopefully the kids and parents that stay the course have thick enough skin until it all catches up and evens out. The 16 year old guy who was throwing beebee's past johnny at 14 will be changing his oil one day not too far down the road.
