Not a fly, but from someone who was actually there...the umpire had to repeatedly tell the fans of Elite's opponent that the "loud mouth" is just an enthusiastic fan who was doing nothing wrong and not directing anything negative at any kid, team, or opposing fan base. When the opponent's fans complained over and over to throw out "the loud mouth," the umpire repeatedly told them to stop and advised again and again that "the loud mouth" was doing nothing wrong and he can't blame the guy for being enthusiastic. He said multiple times that these experiences for the kids and watching your kids goes fast and it'll all be over for 99.9% of these boys real soon so just enjoy it...but it didn't stop the complaining. The umpire had to stop the game and call a coaches meeting to advise the coaches that it's about the kids and not the coaches, fans, or umpires. And to add, I think both sides would agree that the biggest problem with that game was the field ump (the one calling balls/strikes in this tourney) wouldn't give a reaction to whether the pitch was a ball or called strike. The strike zone was fine and consistent, but I have to include that the "home plate umpire" (the one dealing with the fans) was also frustrated with the lack of volume from his partner. That's not an opinion, that was a statement that was heard. Aside from the lack of volume, both umps called a good game and no one on either side had issues with calls.
Let's not lose sight of the fact that it was a very good game from both sides...one team went up big early, had great outfield play, and hit the ball hard, while the other team had a nice come back with good offense and stellar pitching/defense to stop the bleeding and close it out.

lose with respect. DE does neither. Thats where the hate comes from, most respect the kids and their talent. The loud mouth parent that DE makes excuses for because he is foreign is only because 95% of their parents are the same disrespectful, arrogant, loud mouths. Stop taking away the attention of what the kids are doing on the field by your actions. When there is a complaint or problem at every tournament DE is in you cant keep claiming its the other teams that is the problem and its time to look in the mirror.

I beg to differ, the hate comes from copy cat parents like yourself who like to jump on the bash de ban wagon cause we’re winning. No one is arrogant, disrespectful or even loud except the parent that everyone loves to hate cause he’s having fun with it. Half of you stuck up , uptight , rich parents sit on the sideline while sipping on you Starbucks coffee could careless what’s going on on the field to even clap for a good play or maybe a great pitch. Everyone supports differently. But you don’t see any of the de parents or coaches instigating on this site about how the other teams do it.

I love all the hate that goes along with this team. Makes throwing up those diamonds at the end of each tournament that much better Until you run into Mid Atlantic Shockers and Baltimore Baseball. I believe you are 0-9 against those two. So no Diamonds are getting thrown up when you run into those 2. But carry on

My sons team didn't have the pleasure of playing Diamond Elite this weekend, but I was there waiting to play the next game on the same field they were on.
What a crap show that sideline is. Holy crap. Trashy people. I am sure there's some decent people on the team, but unfortunately you're being overshadowed by the ones who are being referenced on this thread.
Diamond Elite: please don't go out of state and play. We don't want anyone thinking you are what Maryland baseball represents. It's embarrbutting.

This is a funny statement because no team played after us on the same field all weekend. We were there last game on Saturday and everyone left the park and on Sunday we stayed on the same field and played 3 games back to back to back with no game after us. So it looks like you must be lieing sir.

I was thinking the same thing, but they could be talking about Friday night. I hope the sideline wasn't a crap show playing HCYP's B team...

But that would be Rogue or Hampton Roads. You guys played Rogue and that comment didn't make sense coming from an out-of-state team. Okay, back to lying.

Definitely wasn’t a crap show against HCYP Friday night seeing how we talked to there coaches afterwards and watched there game Saturday with a family member of them and they watched our game with us. Conversating with them the whole time and actually having a great and very complementing Conversation with there head coach after our game Saturday. Good try though

A bunch of adults crying and butthurt over youth baseball on a website hiding behind keyboards. Why can’t credit be given when credit is due? The DE kids play lights out baseball and have pbuttion for the game. I’m sure they have their ups and downs on and off the field just like the rest of us, what makes you haters so frickin perfect? The parents clearly love their kids and maybe have more pbuttionate than others. A loud parent? Where are the rules for how loud one can be for their child? Get over yourselves and grow up! Stop breeding hate and love the pbuttion and the kids that are involved in the game.
