What about the HCYP Raiders Blue I still don’t know why they’re not on here.... Until the Calvert Tide can beat the Olney Pirates, the deserve to be the #1 ranked team.

I agree HYCP Blue should probably be ranked but I only said that until Calvert Tide beats Olney, Olney deserves the 1 spot in my opinion.

Also, the only way HCYP Blue could be ranked is in tournament play. They were invited to CRAB league but unfortunately did not join. This year in there league MABA there isn’t as much competition. They have to show themselves right in tournaments. They also have 2 scrimmages against the Olney Pirates which I know are just scrimmages but they can still prove some stuff.

HCYP came a long way last year. Beat LakeShore and Calvert Tide if I remember correctly. (Man Bun) correct me if I’m wrong.
There are definitely teams missing though. Mid Atlantic shockers (Gaylor) Diamond Pros though they are under a new name and Delmarva Aces are also a very very solid program.
Excited to see what the season brings as kids begin to grow and now it’s real baseball. Best of luck to everyone this season.

I believe they won 0 tournaments in 9u and then bouncing back in 10u with 3 out of 6 tourneys won. With another second place where they lost off a walk off homer. But it should be a EXCITING season.

Yeah Steve, you are correct. HYCP beat Calvert Tide last year and so did the Delmarva Aces. There is a lot of great competition out there and I agree the 11U season should bring a lot of great games for us to further discuss.

Where is everyone playing this week...
According to GC... some movement to the rankings might start happening.
Tide and Olney split... Looks like the TIde handled business first game, maybe they are #1!
Lakeshore had a rough weekend, lets see if they bounce back.... Has Elkridge played yet? Whats RBA Doing? How are the Shore teams? this was going good for a while and now everyone shuts up???

The first weekend is hard to get a true feel on rankings. The weather definitely was not the best, and kids first time for many playing real baseball.
I think the 11u rankings will definitely have some shake up after the first month or so. You will see some teams who were strong at 9-10 not as strong this year as some kids just can’t deal with the bigger field as they haven’t grown or the game has just gotten to fast for them. This is real baseball now. The same conversation will be had in 2 years when the kids jump to the big diamond. Teams that have been well coached and are disciplined will shine as they have made the adjustments from last year to this year.
