Not much of a change after last week/weekend. Williamsport and BCCC Big Train split this weekend. I know there has been some mention of moving Delmarva over SR, WM and Evo, but I can't find any head to head results for any of those. Delmarva does have a H2H over Tri-State Arsenal National-AJ back in April.
Thoughts are encouraged, but also keep in mind I do my "unofficial rankings" based on the following criteria: 1) Head to head wins 2) Common Opponent wins 3) Accomplishments.
1. South River-Green 2. White Marsh 3. EvoShield Canes- Maxwell 4. Delmarva Aces East 5. Mid-Maryland United 6. Mid-Atlantic Redsox 7. Calvert Tide 8. Gambrills Aces 9. BCCC Warriors T10. Williamsport Angels T10. BCCC Big Train

Just me but in my mind accomplishments #1. And for me sometimes making the QF or SF in a more competitive tournament is more of an accomplishment than winning a less competitive one. PAL Astros, Blue Chips and Burtonsville have all won a tournament this year doesn't make em a top 10 team.
For me Delmarva has played the toughest schedule and 2 losses to a good 14U team and a top team from VA. Seahawks-beat solid White Marsh team and can discount if want but winning all those league games vs 14U teams not easy as you think Canes-you can dislike their coach if you want and faces aren't all same but (despite losing to Calvert) would be hard to bet against vs another MD team White Marsh-good tournament results but losing to Seahawks and also to Elkridge keeps them out of top 3. Gambrills-making final of 14U tournament a plus and running away with MABA gives them slight edge over Calvert and Mid Maryland(even though they lost to those teams)

Delmarva Aces East went 2-0 this weekend at PG Super25 in NJ before it got cancelled because of rain. Beat AC Hammerheads (former Muckdogs Red) 4-0 and then rolled a stout US Elite team 7-0 in game two.

This weekend white marsh warriors won snacktown showdown due to shortened tourney due to rain. On Saturday they beat two weak teams but beat complete game academy on Sunday 4-3 so, yes delmarva and Seahawks are number 1 and 2 but white marsh should be number 3 not evoshield if you look at common opponents white marsh has a 10-0 win vs a team called ny Gotham’s at diamond nation. The evoshield canes played that same team losing 15-8. And when you look at accomplishments white marsh takes the cake they have tourney championship victories this year at 1. Maplezone (Philadelphia) 12 teams 2. Future stars (Hershey) 14 teams 3. Mason Dixon slugfest (Pennsylvania) 10 teams 4. Snacktown showdown (Pennsylvania) 20 teams
They also have runner up at 1. Diamond nation (New Jersey) 30 teams 2. Severn spring break (md) 8 teams
One loss to Elkridge shouldn’t be the deciding factor putting the white marsh warriors behind canes in standings.
And strength of schedule is another factor. looking at both teams schedule the canes leave the state for one tourney this year and that is to New Jersey, while warriors are going to NJ, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.
So please give me feeedback how canes are deserving 3rd in the state while warriors get 4th

Good points! EvoShield has always just fit into that spot because of their old Olney affiliation. Good arguments and thank you bringing to light the common opponent. That certainly is a factor. Elkridge is a good team and will beat people in early round tournaments and weekday games.
1. Delmarva Aces East 2. South River-Green 3. White Marsh 4. EvoShield Canes-Maxwell 5. Gambrills Aces 6. Mid-Maryland United 7. Mid-Atlantic Red Sox 8. Calvert Tide 9. BCCC Warriors T10. Williamsport T10. BCC Big Train

I definitely agree with the current top 5. Delmarva clearly has played the toughest schedule and has great results on their season. Even thought they havent played the other top 5 teams yet I believe they are the most talented group. And totally agree with the comment about not discounting the South River 14u league schedule. The adjustment to BBCOR bats and the stronger and more experienced pitching seen at that level is not to be taken lightly event though a few of those team are not that strong. And White Marsh is deserving of the #3 spot. Much tougher schedule and better results. One league loss to a sold Elkridge team is not a big deal. Any of these teams could take out the others on any given day. In my opinion big drop off after those 5.

Not to say the top 5 couldnt lose to 6-10 but in a 3 or 5 game set I think those top 5 would dominate

Want to hear who people think are the top 10 players in the state??? This should be its own thread. I would like to know some names so I can keep an eye out for them at tournaments and at High School next year.

Agree...Great topic to start another 13u thread on. Can even list kids by their position, year, etc. Obviously, many of the top clubs will have a lot of the best ball players, but there are a few of the lower ranked teams that have standouts.

Gambrills did lose to Fallston Sunday. Tough loss on a Sunday elimination game, but neither Edmonds or Cary were on the mound. Loss is a loss though.

With big wins over Mid Atlantic Red Sox and now White Marsh along with a win in the CBA tourney at 13u, Rawlings Black has definitely made a case to be included in the top 10.
This probably drops white marsh a spot or 2 as well now with 2 losses to I ranked opponents in the last couple weeks. buttuming this list is always fluid.
