Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww The team is 8-8-2 on gamechanger. Oh but let’s not forget their 2 losses To API that we’re magically erased. Hiding losses is sad especially with the wide use of the internet, and most players have gamechanger and follow other local teams. Lakeshore beat Olney, congratulations and congratulations on the championship. Olney coach asked umpire today about a cracked bat being used by Lakeshore, and Lakeshore coach got mad. Other teams were watching. Every team at 12u has a bad day. Olney looking at Gamechanger is 6-3. So they have played a lot less games, and their full team isn’t there because of parents and Covid. Bottom line Olney has been the best for a Long time. A bad weekend doesn’t take them out the top and good weekend doesn’t put a 500 team actually under 500 in the talking of top 10. Where’s Gambrills they have been mighty quiet? Olney didn’t have a bad day today. They didn’t make errors, the pitching was good. The second kid that came in threw harder then any kid I have seen all season. LS just won the game. Timely hitting and good pitching. .... and as far as the cracked bat issue 😂😂😂 it wasn’t the LS coach that was being the crybaby ( for once ) If you consider 7 walks in 5 innings good pitching you sir must not under stand baseball. The pirates just faced a kid from NY throwing 80 a few weeks ago. Congrats to Lakeshore they won they played a better game. |

I dont know how you think Calvert Tide "fell off" since the start of 12u? They have played some stiff competition if you look at their game-changer...
They have losses to Stars - Eidemiller x2/ VA Seminoles - Gerrity/ Battle Baseball x2/ = 5 Tough games/teams according to their gamechanger and baseball rankings in VA
They have two huge wins over Olney (#1 in MD) and the Tidewater Horns (#3 in VA) plus several other wins over out of state teams, winning a Ripken and coming in second at Legacy and in NC tournaments...
They definitely do not have a huge pool of kids to pull from but they have always been in the top 3 to 5 in this age group through the years

You guys are all a trip. What you think you have at 12u is a joke when converting to the 90. How many actual athletes that can run, throw, and hit are on your team? How many pitchers actually can pitch? Big difference.
Check out 13/14/15 age groups. None of the stacked 12u and under teams carry through to the big field. Relax and enjoy 12u and don’t take yourselves and teams so seriously. It all comes to fruition in HS.

How would you list hickory black better than Shockers Gaylor when Gaylor just beat them heads up. A good game but they still beat them and have consistently had the best record in the state.
Also what do people consider good tournaments?

Also what do people consider good tournaments? Anything that has fences further than 200 feet. What a joke. |

That’s only 9 baseball guy, not sure why everyone is on this Garrett team, they beat one good team historically that has been struggling a little this year, and definitely not better than shocker A, don’t think md Orioles should be in top 10 right now, honestly don’t know anything about Edgemere, have they beat anyone in top 10.....yes I think Olney is #1, gambrills, shocker A, RBA, Calvert tide, hickory black, then it could be anyone after that

Just ask the Royals 12u coach which we played at SATB about us. We won (13-1) head to head vs MA Red Sox and beat a good Garden State Ducks Green team which run ruled Edgemere. I know each game is different due to who is pitching for each team. I’m not saying we are in the running for a top 3 placement but we should in talks in the top 6 and defiantly top 10. I don’t know or can’t speak about other teams but our organization travels to the eastern shore, Pittsburgh, central PA and WV to seek out different competition and don’t play at the same places over and over. How about some of these teams come to Garrett County and enjoy Deep Creek Lake and we will host a long weekend, round robin tournament so we can compare apples to apples...Just a thought. |
