Aces East and Shockers both way too low. I am sure by the next rankings they will be much higher.

Without knowing all the moves that all teams have made and based mostly on last year and some fall games, top 5 I would say
Olney
MAS Gaylor
RBA
Ace’s East
Gambrills
They are their preseason rankings so sure there will be some shake up after a month. I didn’t see Hickory on the list and I am confident they should be.

I agree with everything you say but I want Shockers on a field not located at SATB. I think Olney holds down the 1 and from there it’s a roll of the dice on each day. No clue what RBA or Shockers or Aces added, but knowing what we added to a team that was #4 at the end of last season, I’m looking forward to a fun and competitive season as we are only playing 2 local tournaments the rest diamond nation perfect game satb Ripken and triple crown, so the record may not be as good as some teams that don’t play as competitive of a schedule.

These rankings are just preseason... Gaylor and the Aces will rise and I am sure others will too... Tide should be higher than LS and Elkridge, my top right now is

Olney is clear front runner beating pretty much everyone in the fall, to include Gambrills twice by a big number. But then they did have a loss to their own "B" team and some losses to teams that they should normally beat.
Mid Atlantic Shockers is always a well rounded team and a group of kids that wont quit or give up.
RBA- Always a fundamental team that just plays clean baseball.
Gambrills- Word is they picked up some new talent this year. After only loosing 10 games last year lets see what they do this year.
Tide: Has always been one of the best teams in the state, have beaten Olney in the past and lost to Olney. If they picked up any new talent or added an arm to their pitching staff which is one of the best around watch out.
Elkridge- Not sure what to make of them, added big kid and their fall seemed rough.
Mid Atlantic Redsox- Added big arm from kid that played up on 12u team. This may just be the team that shocks some folks.
Maryland Crush- nothing new here just good team - kids play with a lot of heart.
Lake Shore- Looks from looking at spring roster and fall that the team has lost some kids, and added some kids.Looks like the loss outweighs the gain in this one looking at a 7-4 fall, and loosing to teams they use to beat up on, looks to be a slide downward on the rankings not up this year.

Why do you guys always put LS in the rankings? With all due respect... they are a rec team with pretty powder blue uniforms. They don’t have the horses to hang with any of the other teams mentioned on this thread. I’m just keeping is 💯. No disrespect. Just my opinion. ✌🏽

Clearly you don’t know that team that well then. My son previously played on that team, and they beat everyone on that list. I can’t speak to what they will do this year as we have moved on but I wish those kids all the best.

Dont know how you can call LS a rec team? I cant speak for what happens this year as I know they had boys move on... but in years past they have always been an a tough team to play! I know Tide and LS had several memorable battles with both teams winning games. LS has beat MAS and Olney before I think, along with RBA too...
HERE WE GO 2 hit the nail on the head with his description of each team... this will be an interesting year for sure!
The Tide coach has said it for the last two years in other threads... he has tried for an end of the year tournament ... you all need to get it together and play for bragging rights!

Lakeshore never beat the shockers; lost bye 1 in extra innings, lost in the ship to them and then last year in the oddest game I’ve ever seen umpired where the umpire grabbed the Lakeshore coach, and to be honest Paul did nothing wrong at all even the head umpire of the entire complex reviewed the tape and agreed.

With the loss of kids we might see LS bunting more than ever?? Not many teams bunt the 4 hitter but a W is a W I guess🤔
