the whole conditioning a 11 year old to pitch that many pitches is funny but in all reality the blame falls on the parents ...period. They have the final say in the matter. These days they are to concerned about what they are going to brag about on Facebook than the kids future Are we really still talking about what the kids arm is gonna be like in 5 to 8 years??? Why don’t we talk about how de ran through the competition on Sunday , playing 3 games back to back to back ( without Jackson pitching). Why don’t we talk about the tournament scheduling 4 games in one day when Monday was a holiday and could’ve easily been the championship day. I guess the kids playing 8 hours of baseball is better than allowing one kid to throw 30 pitches over his limit. Why don’t we talk about how we saw a great game between two good teams that are probably gonna see each other again and again. We can all do the research about the pitchers used by several teams this weekend , and realize that Jackson wasn’t the only pitcher over a hundred for the weekend, Move on people.

It was a great game to watch. DE blew Gambrills to pieces and made their way to the championship. The tournament itself wasn’t ran how one would hope but I guess that’s what they had. Would’ve liked to have seen them on fields for their age group and championship on Monday. Felt bad for the 11uB playing after the 11uA championship! That was pretty ridiculous. Nothing better than a fun rivalry!

Can't be Jaxson's dad or he'd probably spell his name correctly, maybe? Honestly, I think this is only blowing up because DE's parents/fans are kind of obnoxious. Every team has the same experience with them. Head coach actually seems like a decent guy though, so it's too bad he can't control his team. I saw on FB that the BCCC Warriors were rooting for BCC. It couldn't be because they had an unpleasant experience with DE in the semis, could it???

They absolutely make a fool of themselves at each and every one of their '15 tournament schedule' games. At what point did you realize a plastic trophy is worth your dignity? From 'wanting to meet in the parking lot' after games to yelling things at the opposing teams kids on the field, it's downright embarrbutting. DE has made quite a reputation for themselves and their kids. And when they come on here saying it's because teams are jealous losers, right there is your answer. But yes the kid throwing that many strikeouts is impressive, no one is denying that.

But yes the kid throwing that many strikeouts is impressive, no one is denying that. Can't sit back anymore and just read this stuff... When has DE made a fool of themselves? Were you at these 15 tournament games? There isn't a single other team that were at their tournaments that went to the same ones so you must be making this up or you have a private investigator following them around? What have they done? What have the kids done? I don't ever recall any parent saying meet me in the parking lot. What is there to even fight over? And for people saying that they were rooting for BBC, it means nothing. Maybe they have friends on BBC? It can be true that they want the team they just lost to lose, that's a thing. So much hate for DE. These are good kids. Are they mad because they get excited when they are doing well? I don't understand the issue. On a side note.. My son get's straight A's and has never been a problem anywhere. There's a lot of straight A kids on the team. If I were to pick an embarrbutting team it would be Gambrills. That coach has for years stalled games, yells at the umpire, etc. It's crazy to me that there is so much hate for these KIDS that have no idea that people are even on this talking about them. The boys love the game and just want to play and not have grown adults talking crap about them. Their coaches go above and beyond for these kids and they aren't perfect but we are a family and no matter what anyone says, I know that the things being said aren't true which is what is so infuriating. Our kids even lost really bad to Elkridge Saturday. We didn't go around bad mouthing Elkridge or complaining that they pitched their pitcher over 120 something pitches over 2 days. We took the L, congratulated them and we did better the next day.

Nobody gets mad at kids for doing well or getting excited. DE is obviously great baseball team (ranked #3 in the state) and I have never heard one bad thing about any of the kids. What you do hear about all of the time is that the sportsmanship in the stands could use a little work, to put it nicely. I have not seen it personally, but unfortunately that's the reputation the DE has.

I have seen them instigate numerous arguments against a few different teams at various tournaments. Usually, it is teams that are better than them so maybe they think its a way to gain an advantage. That young man had 15 Ks in one game and that is remarkable. The fact that he threw that many pitches is horrendous. Same for the kid from Elkridge if he threw that many. There is now way you can condition an 11 y/o to throw that much and those coaches should be (but I doubt they are) ashamed of themselves. In all honesty, they probably love it. I'd rather not mention my sons team because I wouldn't want to make them a target but they have played Diamond Elite (and in years past when they were Pasadena) and have a done well against them. DE is a good team that plays hard. They hit and pitch well. They run the bases hard and don't give up. The kids seem like decent kids that love to play baseball. Something that we all want our kids to be. The parents however are the real problem. Chances are if you can't figure out who the a$$hole in the room is, its you. Best of luck this fall to everyone.

Id hate to see the Pasadena times if DE is the improved behavior. There is a reason everyone has the same opinion of their parents, they create a lot of issues for themselves taking the focus away from the kids on the field where it should be. The one parent that likes to yell after every pitch like he is the umpire is very abrasive, not to mention the yelling at others teams players, cursing in the stands, and banging on bleachers while opposing kid is pitching to attempt to distract a 10/11 year old kid. Its fine to be pbuttionate supporters unfortunately DE does so in the wrong way and seems to think their behavior is acceptable.
